Fresh horror has gripped Nigeria after suspected terrorists launched a deadly midnight assault on a church vigil in Kwara State, killing
worshippers and abducting 15 others in an attack that has shocked communities across the country.
The gunmen reportedly stormed the prayer gathering at Ori-Oke Ajaiye near Ikiran village in Ekiti Local Government Area during an
overnight vigil, opening fire on terrified worshippers before whisking several victims away into nearby forests.
At least three people were confirmed dead as panic and confusion spread across the community, with residents fleeing
for safety while families searched desperately for missing relatives through the night.
