BREAKING: president Tinubu Secures Landslide Victory in APC 2027 Presidential Primary

President Bola Tinubu has been declared the winner of the All Progressives Congress (APC) presidential primary for the 2027 election, officially making him the party’s candidate for the upcoming general election.

According to Naija News, Tinubu secured a resounding landslide victory over his sole challenger, Stanley Osifo from Edo State. The primary election was held on Sunday, May 24, 2026, across 8,809 wards in all 774 local government areas. The results, announced by the Chairman of the APC Presidential Primaries Committee, Senator Anyim Pius, showed Tinubu polling 10,999,967 votes against Osifo’s 16,503 votes.

Following the primary, President Tinubu and the First Lady, Senator Remi Tinubu, arrived at the International Conference Centre (ICC) in Abuja for the official presentation of his certificate of return and party flag. The President had just returned to the nation’s capital from Lagos, where the primary took place.

He was welcomed at the Nnamdi Azikwe International Airport by top officials, including FCT Minister Nyesom Wike, National Security Adviser Nuhu Ribadu, Lagos State Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu, his deputy Obafemi Hamzat, and Inspector-General of Police Tunji Disu.
