In the All Progressives Congress (APC) presidential primary held on Saturday in Gombe State, President Bola Tinubu secured a landslide victory, amassing 450,517 votes.
His sole opponent, Stanley Osifo, failed to receive any votes across all 11 local government areas of the state.
The results were announced at APC Square by Gombe State Governor, Muhammad Inuwa Yahaya, who served as the exercise coordinator. According to the governor, the figures were submitted by collation officers from each of the 11 LGAs.
Governor Yahaya noted that the primary was conducted peacefully and adhered to the party’s guidelines.

The results from Gombe will now be sent to Abuja for final collation and official declaration by the APC’s national leadership.
A detailed breakdown shows Tinubu’s votes across the LGAs: Akko (5,873), Balanga (23,307), Billiri (23,675), Dukku (24,964), Funakaye (22,761), Kaltungo (22,998), Kwami (25,305), Nafada (21,388), Shongom (12,765), and Yamaltu/Deba (75,067). Gombe LGA recorded the highest tally with 112,414 votes.
Yahaya further revealed that Gombe State has 550,516 registered APC members, and he praised party officials, delegates, and members for their peaceful conduct and dedication to the democratic process.
