According to the Department of Homeland Security, the United States has proposed a $70,000 fee for international students seeking to take part in the Optional Practical Training (OPT) programme.
The proposed charge is part of the latest update under President Donald Trump’s administration. The OPT programme provides international students with the opportunity to gain practical experience through training related to their studies.
