Full Stomach Does Not Mean a Healthy Body

Brought to you by Next Africa Daily You eat every day, but are you giving your body what it truly needs? Many people focus on filling their stomachs without paying attention to the nutritional value of what they eat. The truth is, eating every day does not automatically mean eating healthily.

Our bodies need six classes of food: carbohydrates, proteins, fats and oils, vitamins, minerals, and water. Each plays an important role in keeping the body functioning properly. Depending on carbohydrates alone while neglecting other essential nutrients is not a balanced way to eat.

Think of a car without fuel. No matter how beautiful it looks, it cannot move without the energy it needs. Our bodies also need proper nourishment to function well.

Eating healthy does not mean buying expensive food. It means making better choices with what is available to you. Before your next meal, ask yourself: Am I simply satisfying my hunger, or am I giving my body the nourishment it needs? Your body deserves more than a full stomach. Pay attention to what you eat because your health matters.
