While global mobility has improved for some, visa-free access remains uneven across the continent. The latest Henley & Partners Passport Index reveals which African passports offer the greatest travel freedom, with some countries climbing the ranks even as their visa-free numbers dip slightly.
Stronger diplomatic ties and shifting global passport dynamics have allowed several African nations to improve their relative standing even when visa-free access has tightened due to stricter immigration policies abroad. The result is a ranking that rewards diplomatic agility as much as raw numbers.
