Tinubu Too Desperate To Remain In Power, US Firm Alleges

According to Hon. Batten Montague-York, a statement posted on his verified X handle on October 1, 2026, said President Bola Tinubu is too desperate to remain in power.

According to the statement, the firm also accused the President of using the police, courts and electoral institutions to rig the 2027 polls.

The statement further claimed that Tinubu is now fully aware that his rising standing could lead to a possible official re-examination of his alleged role in the trafficking of heroin from Nigeria to the United States during the 1980s and 1990s.

It also alleged that such a possible re-examination could result in a presidential indictment.

The claims were contained in the statement posted by Batten Montague-York, according to the information gathered for the report.
