Tinubu's good works should not be forgotten, Ezeh Sunday tells Nigerians

A resident of Abakaliki, Ebonyi State, Ezeh Sunday, has urged Nigerians to recognise the positive efforts of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu's administration, saying the country should not focus only on the government's shortcomings.

Speaking during an interview with Next Africa Daily, Sunday said that although Nigerians have reasons to criticise the government, they should also acknowledge the things the president has done well.

He pointed to some roads that had been abandoned for many years but are now receiving attention under Tinubu's administration. According to him, Nigerians may not fully appreciate some of these efforts today, but future generations may remember the projects and contributions made during his time in office.

He said every leader who has governed Nigeria has made positive contributions in one way or another, adding that political differences should not stop citizens from recognising good efforts.

Sunday also urged Nigerians to examine themselves before placing all the blame on their leaders. He said citizens have responsibilities to fulfil in building a better society.

Speaking about the rising cost of food and other essential items, he acknowledged the difficulties Nigerians are facing but maintained that citizens should also take responsibility for their actions rather than blaming the government for every problem.

He called on Nigerians to correct their attitudes and contribute positively to the development of the country.
