ADC leadership crisis escalates as David Mark's camp moves to block court judgment

The leadership crisis within the African Democratic Congress (ADC) has taken another turn as the camp led by former Senate President David Mark moves to stop the execution of a Federal High Court judgment concerning the party's leadership.

According to a report, the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has stated that it has not yet received the Certified True Copy (CTC) of the Federal High Court judgment concerning the ADC leadership dispute.

The ADC reportedly filed an application seeking a stay of execution pending the determination of its appeal.

According to the party's counsel, the ADC had formally informed INEC of its appeal and its application for a stay of execution.

The development adds another layer to the ongoing legal battle over who controls the party's leadership.
