Political activist Aisha Yesufu has raised concerns over the growing political pressure facing Peter Obi, suggesting that his rising influence ahead of the 2027 general election is making political opponents uncomfortable.
In a statement shared on her official X account on Saturday, Yesufu said the All Progressives Congress (APC) appeared increasingly concerned about Obi's growing political influence.
She argued that the current political developments suggest that election rigging may no longer be an easy option, adding that political opponents could be turning to smear campaigns to weaken him.
