Peter Obi: My Holidays Will Be in Nigeria, Not Abroad

Peter Obi has said he wants to be a president who stays close to Nigerians, especially people living in areas affected by killings and insecurity.

In a video statement, Obi said he would travel across Nigeria and visit different senatorial zones to campaign and share his ideas. He stressed that he has the right to visit every part of the country and challenged those who believe they have the confidence and energy to serve Nigerians to come out and campaign.

Obi also spoke about President Bola Tinubu, claiming that Tinubu had not spent a night in Bayelsa, Anambra and Enugu states.

He recalled that former President Olusegun Obasanjo visited Anambra State and spent time there when he was in power.

Obi said he wants to make a difference by being available to Nigerians rather than spending his holidays outside the country.

He mentioned Benue, Zamfara, Sokoto and Maiduguri as places where people are being killed. He said he wants to spend his holidays in such areas and stand with the people facing these difficult situations.

His message was that a president should remain close to the people and be present in places where Nigerians need support.
