Anambra State Governor, Chukwuma Soludo, has suggested that the South-West could support an Igbo presidency in the future if the South-East supports President Bola Tinubu’s second-term ambition.
According to Soludo, the South-East’s support for Tinubu’s second term could encourage the South-West to back an Igbo presidential candidate when the right time comes.
The governor’s statement highlights the importance of political support and cooperation between regions in Nigeria, particularly as the South-East continues to seek the opportunity to produce the country’s president.
