NDC Moves to Strengthen 2027 Campaign With Key Appointments

The National Democratic Congress (NDC) has announced key appointments to its National Campaign Council as the party prepares for the 2027 general elections.

The party named Senator Henry Seriake Dickson as the chairman of the National Campaign Council, while its presidential candidate, Peter Obi, was appointed co-chairman.

Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso, the party's vice-presidential candidate, was also named campaign chairman. According to an announcement on the party's X handle, the council will coordinate campaign activities and mobilise support across the country ahead of the elections.

The appointments are expected to help organise the party's campaign activities and bring members together as preparations for the 2027 general elections continue. The party also emphasised the importance of unity and cooperation among its members as it works towards its electoral goals.

With the election approaching, the campaign council will play a role in coordinating the party's activities and reaching supporters in different parts of the country.
