According to Chioma Okoro, who spoke to Next Africa Daily, the woman had reportedly paid the pastor money to make a prophecy for her. However, the pastor allegedly collected the money and ran away, leading to a confrontation between him, the woman and her children.

The woman and her children allegedly beat the pastor severely, and he was reportedly nearly beaten to death.

Following the incident, the pastor reportedly contacted the police. The woman was arrested, and the matter is now before the court, with proceedings ongoing.

Next Africa Daily will continue to follow the case and provide updates as more information becomes available.

The incident serves as a reminder to Nigerians to be careful when seeking spiritual services, especially when money is involved. People should exercise caution and avoid placing their trust in individuals without proper consideration.
