Reject vote-buying, Mary Ojo urges Nigerians

Mary Ojo from Ikorodu, Lagos, has urged Nigerians to put God first as the country prepares for the 2027 general election.

She said Nigerians have voted for many years but are still hoping for better leadership and a better country. She encouraged citizens to pray and ask God to guide the nation in choosing the right leader in 2027.

Ojo also warned Nigerians not to accept money or gifts in exchange for their votes. She urged voters to make wise decisions and support candidates they genuinely believe are right for the country, rather than allowing temporary benefits to influence their choices.

She made this appeal during an interview with Next Africa Daily.
