Argentina keep Messi's No. 10 shirt vacant

Argentina have decided to leave their famous No. 10 shirt unused following Lionel Messi's retirement from international football.

The former world champions are expected to face Uruguay during their November friendly matches, but the iconic shirt number will remain vacant.

According to the report, friendly match regulations do not require teams to use shirt numbers from 1 to 11, allowing Argentina to leave the No. 10 shirt unassigned as a mark of respect for their former captain.

Argentina coach Lionel Scaloni and his coaching staff have reportedly decided to keep the number unused until further notice.

The decision reflects the respect and recognition Messi continues to receive for his contribution to Argentine football.
