2027: Adeyanju alleges Obi, Kwankwaso are working for Tinubu

Activist lawyer Deji Adeyanju has alleged that Peter Obi and Rabiu Kwankwaso are working for President Bola Tinubu ahead of the 2027 presidential election.

Adeyanju made the claim in a post on X on Saturday, urging Nigerians not to vote for Obi and Kwankwaso. He alleged that supporting the two politicians would benefit Tinubu and the All Progressives Congress, APC.

However, Obi contested the 2023 presidential election under the Labour Party, while Kwankwaso ran under the New Nigeria Peoples Party, NNPP. Tinubu won the election, while Obi finished third behind Atiku Abubakar of the Peoples Democratic Party.

Obi has also recently said he would not abuse or disrespect Tinubu, describing him as the President of Nigeria and saying he deserves his respect.
