Ogun Diaspora Group Throws Weight Behind YAYI for 2027 Governorship Race

A political support group, the Ogun Diaspora for YAYI 2027 Support and Campaign Group, has officially endorsed Senator Solomon Olamilekan Adeola (YAYI) for the Ogun State governorship election in 2027.

In a statement released on Thursday, the group cited the senator’s track record on rural road infrastructure, skills acquisition, youth empowerment, and economic support programs across the state’s three senatorial districts as the basis for their decision.

Speaking on behalf of the group, Ambassador Yemi Soile Director General of Ogun Diaspora for YAYI 2027 and founder of the Youth Mobilisation for Tinubu/Shettima 2023 Campaign Organisation described Adeola as a leader with a strong record of people-oriented governance and inclusive development.

According to Soile, the senator’s interventions across Ogun State have consistently promoted productivity, self-reliance, and sustainable economic growth among residents.

“This endorsement is based on Senator YAYI’s proven leadership, people-oriented governance style, and his long-term vision for inclusive and balanced development across Ogun State,” Soile said.

He added that the group is convinced Adeola has the experience, competence, and leadership qualities necessary to advance the state’s development while ensuring equitable growth across all regions.

The endorsement statement, also signed by the Deputy Director General of the group, Bolaji Jimoh, noted that the senator’s empowerment initiatives and developmental projects have endeared him to many residents both within and outside the state.

The group maintained that Adeola has demonstrated the capacity to lead Ogun State to greater heights through policies focused on economic development, youth engagement, and infrastructural expansion.
