PSG Edge Bayern 5–4 in Champions League Semi-Final Thriller

Paris Saint-Germain have taken a narrow advantage in their UEFA Champions League semi-final after a dramatic 5–4 victory over Bayern Munich in the first leg of a pulsating encounter.

The match, played at high intensity from start to finish, saw both Paris Saint-Germain and Bayern Munich commit heavily to attack in the UEFA Champions League last-four clash.

Bayern opened the scoring early, but PSG responded strongly, producing a dominant spell that saw them surge into a 5–2 lead before the hour mark.

The French side appeared in control and on course for a comfortable victory.

However, Bayern mounted a late comeback, scoring twice in the closing stages to reduce the deficit to 5–4 and keep the tie alive ahead of the second leg in Munich.

The result leaves PSG with a one-goal advantage, while Bayern remain firmly in contention going into the return fixture.

Both teams are expected to reassess their defensive approach ahead of the second leg, after a match defined by attacking play and defensive lapses.

The second leg in Munich will determine which side advances to the Champions League final.
