Scammers Are Waiting for December, Don't Fall Victim

December 25 is approaching, and as many Nigerians search for money to celebrate Christmas, scammers are also looking for people to deceive.

Every year, fraudsters use fake calls, false business offers and tempting advertisements to trick unsuspecting people. Be careful when answering calls from unfamiliar numbers. Ask who is speaking, verify any offer before accepting it, and never share your bank details, passwords, verification codes or personal information carelessly.

Do not allow the pressure to celebrate Christmas to push you into the hands of fraudsters. Some scams can cost you your hard-earned money, while others can put your safety at risk.

Scammers are everywhere. Stay alert, think before you trust, and protect yourself this December. This information is brought to you by Next Africa Daily.
