The party’s national secretariat at Wadata Plaza typically serves as the central venue for submission of nomination forms and related pre-election activities.

Speaking after submitting her forms, Akpoti-Uduaghan expressed appreciation to her constituents in Kogi Central and members of the PDP for their continued support, framing her political journey as one anchored on representation and public service.

She said her focus remains on strengthening democratic governance and ensuring that constituents benefit more directly from government policies and programs.

According to her, her legislative work is guided by issues affecting ordinary citizens, including youth opportunities, women’s participation in leadership, and community development.

Her remarks also emphasized continuity, noting that her political engagement is not limited to electoral ambition but to sustaining what she described as purposeful representation.

She added that her efforts are aimed at expanding inclusion and strengthening trust between elected officials and the electorate.

Since her emergence in the Senate, Senator Akpoti-Uduaghan has become one of the more visible lawmakers from Kogi State, frequently associated with advocacy on governance accountability, constituency development, and gender inclusion in politics.

Her political trajectory has also drawn national attention, particularly given her active engagement in legislative debates and public discourse.

Supporters present at the submission described her as a resilient and accessible representative, highlighting her constituency outreach efforts and philanthropic engagements in Kogi Central.

Many of them expressed optimism that her bid for re-election would sustain ongoing projects and developmental initiatives in the district.

A PDP stakeholder at the event noted that her political rise has encouraged greater participation among women and young people in politics, arguing that her visibility in the Senate demonstrates the increasing space for diverse representation within Nigerian governance.

As the 2027 election cycle gradually takes shape, her early submission of nomination forms signals both her intention to retain her seat and the beginning of renewed political mobilization within her constituency and party structure.
