During the El-Shaddai Hour Anniversary Celebration held on October 29, 2026, Pastor Paul Enenche reminded Christians that God must remain more important than the church itself.
Speaking during the programme at Dunamis Church, he stressed that no church can truly grow or flourish without God's presence.
To explain his message, Enenche shared a story about a pastor in Brazil who was struggling to attract members to his church. According to the story, the pastor tried different methods and strategies to encourage people to attend church, but his efforts were not producing the expected results.

The pastor later spoke to God about his struggles, and God told him that he should value Him more than the church.
Enenche explained that after the pastor began to put God first, more people started coming to the church. However, the pastor became worried and asked God whether the church would eventually return to its former condition.
Through the story, Enenche reminded Christians that church growth should never become more important than God. He stressed that without God's presence, a church cannot truly stand or flourish.
