Ned Nwoko Deserves Anioma Support for Second Term - Indigene of Ika North East Says

The Director-General of the Senator Ned Nwoko Campaign Council, Hon. Samuel Ekene Kerry, has declared that Distinguished Senator Ned Nwoko has performed creditably well to deserve overwhelming support for a second term in the Senate.

The Campaign DG maintained that Senator Ned Nwoko’s achievements within a short period in office clearly distinguished him from other political actors aspiring to represent Delta North Senatorial District.

According to him, Senator Ned Nwoko has demonstrated uncommon courage, legislative capacity, and commitment to the development of Anioma land and Nigeria at large.

Hon. Kerry noted that his decision to serve as Director-General of Senator Ned Nwoko’s campaign despite being an indigene of Ika North-East Local Government Area, the same area his opponent hails from, was itself a strong statement that Senator Nwoko remained the best choice for Delta North.

The Campaign DG also celebrated Senator Nwoko’s sustained advocacy for the creation of Anioma State, describing it as one of the most historic political movements in the region in recent times, which has put Anioma at the top of national and socio-political discussions.

He explained that the proposed Anioma State would have enormous political, economic, and developmental benefits for the people presently occupying Delta North Senatorial District, insisting that the level of progress already recorded in the advocacy should naturally compel all Anioma people to rally behind Senator Ned Nwoko.

Hon. Kerry further praised the Senator’s legislative energy and effectiveness, which he said had produced over 31 bills and numerous motions within a relatively short period in office.

He specifically highlighted Senator Nwoko’s role in the restoration of the Aniocha North Constituency II, noting that the development also contributed significantly to the release and recognition of other previously suppressed constituencies across Delta State, including the ongoing process concerning Ika North-East II, which the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) is currently working to finalise.

According to him, the Senator has facilitated the installation of over 2,000 streetlights and the execution of a water project in communities such as Asaba, Idumuje-Ugboko, Onicha-Ugbo, Umunede, and several other towns across the district.

He emphasized that Senator Ned Nwoko has the best interest of the people of Delta North at heart and urged all support towards his 2027 re-election. Hon .Kerry also appealed to all Deltans to back the re- election of President Bola Tinubu and Governor Sheriff Oborevwori , noting that they merit a second tenure with their numerous accomplishments.
