Nigeria’s presidency has announced a renewed push to attract foreign direct investment as President Bola Tinubu prepares to leverage the Africa CEOs Forum as a strategic platform for deepening investor engagement across the continent.

According to the statement, the administration is seeking to reposition Nigeria and broader Africa as a competitive destination for global capital by strengthening partnerships with leading chief executives, policymakers, and private sector actors.

The move is expected to focus on infrastructure financing, energy transition, digital economy expansion, and trade facilitation.

Officials say the Africa CEOs Forum will serve as a key gateway for high-level discussions aimed at converting policy reforms into measurable investment inflows, while also addressing barriers affecting cross-border business growth.

The presidency added that the initiative aligns with ongoing economic reforms designed to stabilize the macroeconomic environment and boost investor confidence in Africa’s largest economy.
