Mary Ojo, a resident of Ikorodu, Lagos State, has raised concerns over the alleged sexual abuse of a young boy by three students in school.
Speaking to Next Africa Daily during an interview, Ojo said the boy was allegedly forced into anal sex by the three students. She explained that the boy was crying during the incident and suffered emotional and psychological trauma.
She also expressed concern about children being exposed to pornography, cultism and other harmful activities in schools.

According to her, teachers cannot see everything happening among students, especially in secondary schools. This is why parents must take an active role in monitoring their children's activities and behaviour.
Ojo appealed to parents to build good relationships with their children so they can feel safe discussing uncomfortable experiences without fear.
She also called on the public to support parents and teachers, stressing that protecting children requires the cooperation of families, schools and the wider community.
