The national leadership of the City Boy Movement has named Iniabasi Godswill Akpabio as its State Director in Akwa Ibom.
The announcement was made on Thursday via a brief statement posted on the Movement’s verified X (formerly Twitter) account.
The appointment is part of a broader strategy to deepen grassroots engagement and enhance youth-oriented initiatives across Nigeria’s South-South region.

According to the statement, the Movement anticipates a significant boost in its activities in Akwa Ibom under her leadership.
“Introducing the Akwa Ibom State Director of the City Boy Movement, Iniabasi Godswill Akpabio.
With her at the helm, the movement is poised for unprecedented impact in the state,” the statement read. Iniabasi is the daughter of Godswill Akpabio.
