The All Progressives Congress (APC) has clarified that party members do not need to show proof of membership fee payment to vote in its ongoing primary elections.
In a press statement issued in Abuja on May 16, 2026, the party’s National Publicity Secretary, Felix Morka, emphasized that all duly registered members are eligible to participate in the exercise.
The statement, titled “No requirement to show proof of APC membership dues payment to vote in ongoing primary elections,” urged members to disregard any conflicting information.

Morka explained that the requirement to present proof of dues payment only applied to aspirants and their nominators during the submission of expression of interest and nomination forms, as well as during the screening exercise.
“For the avoidance of doubt, the requirement to show proof of payment of APC membership dues was applicable only to aspirants and their nominators,” he stated.
The APC encouraged members and stakeholders to ensure smooth and peaceful participation in the primaries without any hindrance.
