Erhiatake Ibori-Suenu has formally declared her intention to seek re-election to the House of Representatives in the 2027 General Elections under the platform of the All Progressives Congress (APC).
The lawmaker representing Ethiope Federal Constituency in Delta State made the announcement in a statement released on Friday, reaffirming her commitment to purposeful representation, service delivery, and alignment with the Renewed Hope Agenda of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.
In her declaration, Ibori-Suenu expressed gratitude to God for what she described as His grace, strength, and guidance throughout her political journey.
She also appreciated President Tinubu for his leadership and commitment to national development.
The federal lawmaker further acknowledged the support of Sheriff Oborevwori, Governor of Delta State, commending his dedication to the growth and development of the people of the state.
She paid tribute to her father, James Onanefe Ibori, noting that his legacy and influence continue to inspire her public service.
She also thanked her husband, Prince Shakiru Abioye Suenu, for his steadfast support and encouragement.

Addressing constituents of Ethiope Federal Constituency, the APC chieftain said the trust and confidence reposed in her remain the driving force behind her decision to seek another term in office.
According to her, the decision to run again is rooted not in personal ambition but in “a deep sense of responsibility, commitment, and the unwavering belief that true representation must be consistent, purposeful, and impactful.”
Ibori-Suenu stated that serving the people of Ethiope Federal Constituency has been a profound honour and pledged to continue advocating for the interests of the constituency at the national level.
“As we align with the Renewed Hope Agenda of our able government, I remain fully committed to advancing development, strengthening unity, and deepening the impact of governance across our constituency,” she stated.
She added that her journey in public office has been marked by sacrifice, growth, and service, assuring constituents that she remains determined to deliver greater results if given another mandate in 2027.
“The journey continues, and the best is yet to come,” the statement added.
