They Made Mistakes, Yet God Used Them: Who Are We to Condemn Others?

Moses killed an Egyptian, David committed adultery and murder, Paul persecuted Christians, and Peter denied Jesus three times. Yet, their stories did not end with their mistakes. God showed mercy, and their lives took different turns.

David sought forgiveness, Paul became a preacher of the gospel, and Jesus restored Peter after his denial. Their stories remind us that falling does not mean a person can never rise again.

But today, some people are more concerned about appearing religious before others than examining their own hearts. They attend church, participate in religious activities, and present themselves as righteous, yet they are quick to condemn others who have made mistakes.

The question is, have we forgotten how much we all need God's mercy?

Having a past does not mean a person has no future with God. What matters is a sincere heart, genuine repentance, and the willingness to turn away from wrongdoing. God's mercy is not permission to continue in sin; it is hope for those who genuinely seek Him.

This Sunday, do not let your past drive you away from God, and do not let your own sense of righteousness make you look down on others. The same God who transformed the lives of people in the Bible can still work in the lives of those who sincerely turn to Him.

Before you condemn someone, remember that you, too, need mercy. And if you have fallen, rise, return to God, and do not give up on your journey of faith.

Sunday Encouragement: Your mistakes do not have to be the end of your story. No matter how far you have fallen, sincerely turn to Jesus, seek His mercy, and allow Him to guide your steps. Do not let shame keep you away from God, and never mistake His mercy for permission to continue in sin.

Happy Sunday! May God's mercy, wisdom, and favour be with you and your family.

Never Underestimate the Person You Are Overlooking Today

The person you overlook today may be the person you need tomorrow. Human beings have a habit of judging people by what they can see at the moment. We look at a child's performance, background, behaviour or circumstances and quickly decide who deserves our attention and who does not.
