The Esusu of Iselu Kingdom in Yewa North Local Government Area of Ogun State, Oba Akirinde Akinyemi, has urged traditional rulers and the electorate to consider how accessible and responsive leaders are before voting for them. Oba Akirinde said people should not vote for any leader who cannot respond to their calls when they are in trouble or need assistance. He made the statement on Sunday while speaking on the importance of communication between leaders and the people. According to him, lack of communication can destroy trust, create misunderstanding and affect the flow of information.
