Supporters of Ghanaian social media personality Frederick Kumi, popularly known as Abu Trica, have intensified public calls for President John Dramani Mahama to intervene and secure his release from custody as he faces extradition proceedings to the United States.
During a tense scene outside the Accra High Court, Abu Trica’s wife and allied sympathizers launched a public campaign urging the president to halt his extradition and free him, chanting slogans and appealing directly to national leadership.
